Palisades Drive Inn is such a cute local gem. The service here is incredibly fast, making it a perfect spot for a quick and delicious meal. If you’re deciding what to eat, I highly recommend the Orange Chicken—it was flavorful and hit the spot. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service. I accidentally forgot to order drinks with our meals, and when I went back up to the counter to buy them, they actually gave us the drinks for free! It was such a kind gesture and really showed how much they care about their customers. Between the great food and the friendly staff, this place is a must-visit. Five stars!

12/17/2021 Back again! Called in an order for fried chicken and roast pork mixed plate, a cheeseburger, and fries. The fries I said last minute before hanging up and figured if she didn't throw them in then oh well. But we got the fries! 12/12/2021 Hubby wanted to go as he was "starving to death" after coming home from golf. He got Chicken Fried noodles and a Hamburger steak and Chicken Katsu mix plate and I got a BBQ Cheeseburger. Yum! 10/1/2021 Last minute decision to go and pick up an early dinner. Husband had fried chicken and hamburger steak plate and I had a cheeseburger and fries. Awesome as always! Also, a few months ago, my brother-in-law ordered multiple party pans of mochiko chicken, teri steak, fried noodles, and rice. All the food was neatly packed in pans and boxes and was ready when we went to go pick it up. Palisades Drive Inn continues to be a go-to for their delicious and consistent food and friendly, smiling service! 8/17/2021 Called in an order for two Fried Fish plates, one with brown rice and toss, one with white rice and mac salad. Also ordered Fried Chicken plate but I forgot to take a pic. The Fried Chicken plate had to be taped and couldn't be closed all the way because it was so stuffed with butterflied chicken pieces. Both were ready when we went to pick up. Delicious as always! 7/1/2021-Called to order a BBQ Mixed plate with brown rice and tossed salad. Easy ordering and was ready when I went to pick up. This plate has 2 BBQ short ribs, 2 big pieces of BBQ chicken, and teriyaki steak. Yum! Consistently good food and they give a lot! It's a go to for plate lunches

As of July 2022 there are three 2 seat tables outside the store available if you want to eat there. Ordered a roast pork plate for $14. Serving size was pretty decent and enough for us to split. The roast pork had good flavor and it's pan fried to make nice crispy bits. Gravy is. Pretty good along with the mac salad that has bits of tuna in it. Only real downside is the rice as it was a little mushy. Overall I'll definitely be back again.

Went to Palisades drive inn to try their mushroom chicken. Got the grilled Ahi instead. Good portions two fillets, rice and macaroni salad. Delicious fast service. A hidden jewel in the Koolaus. A great place to go after hiking Palisades falls trail

Food is amazing here If you're not a local definitely come here. So much flavor customer service was wonderful. Beautiful people beautiful food this is the mochico chicken

The food was bomb here! Most people came to just pick up their food but we sat at a table outside and enjoyed ours fresh. We would highly recommend you try the orange chicken and bbq mixed plate. The meats were tender, the orange chicken was saucy, the rice has a great texture, and the Mac salad is yummy. It’s not dry or too plain. I enjoyed the gyozas too. The crunch was great on the outside and the filling was meat and veggies.
